About Us
If you were cleaning for us, we'd want to know a bit about you first. So here we tell you about who we are.
The Wonder Maids is a family company, owned and operated by a mom, a dad, and their two adult daughters. We live in Maple Valley, about 36 miles from the summit of mighty Mount Rainier, on the very edge of the Wild, with nothing between us and hundreds of miles of mountains and prairie, yet we're only about 45 minutes from the downtown Seattle. It's the best of both worlds.
We love where we live, we love our neighbors, and we love each other. We're a happy family, and we started this company because we truly enjoy being together. Working together--no matter what we're working on--is our idea of fun.

We're all rather geeky. We love science fiction, fantasy role playing games, video gaming, and attending Renaissance faires. We play chess, watch superhero movies, argue the merits of Picard vs. Kirk with friendly vehemence, and sling nerdy puns around.
But we also love spending time together outdoors. That's us, in the picture above, visiting Olympic National Park. We care about the environment, we're vegetarians, we wouldn't dream of littering, and we drive an electric vehicle.
We have a great time together, and we laugh a lot, but we also have a serious side. We're the sort of people who stand up respectfully when color guards pass during a parade and who thank veterans for their service. The sort of people who help lost dogs. The sort of people to volunteer in the community. The sort of people who are always learning, just because.
Potential clients will be happy to know that we're all non-smoking teetotalers with no criminal records. And a couple of us suffer from allergies and asthma--which means we're the perfect cleaning team for clients who deal with those things, too. We get it.
We hope we're the sort of people you'd be glad to call friends. And we know we're the sort of people you'll be happy to have taking good care of your home.
